Police appeal after woman sprayed in face with cleaning products in Bedminster
Police are searching for a man who may be able to help with enquiries after a woman was attacked in Bedminster. A woman was reportedly approached by an unknown person and sprayed in the face with cleaning formula while in a shop on East Street on the morning of Tuesday, July 30.
The victim required treatment at an eye hospital following the attack. She is now recovering at home. Police would now like to identify a man they wish to speak to. He is described as white, aged in his 60s-70s and has white facial hair.
In pictures provided by the police, the man is wearing glasses, a light blue shirt and a navy coat. He was also wearing black trousers and brown shoes.

It is thought that the man pictured may have information which can assist police with their investigation into the attack. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting the reference number 5224198709.
A statement from Avon and Somerset Police said: "We are appealing for the public's help to identify a man we wish to speak to in connection with an assault in Bristol.
"The man pictured is white, aged in his 60s-70s, with white facial hair. He is shown wearing glasses, a light blue shirt, a navy coat and black trousers, with brown shoes.
"We believe he may have information which could aid our enquiries into an incident which happened on Tuesday 30 July at around 10.20am.
"Officers are investigating after an unknown suspect sprayed cleaning formula in the face of a woman while in a shop in East Street, Bedminster. The victim sought treatment at an eye hospital following the incident and is now recovering at home."
