Police Applaud as Wife and New Baby of Slain Colleague Leave Hospital
A group of officers from Bristol, Connecticut, applauded as the wife and new baby of their slain colleague left a hospital in New Haven, according to local news reports.
Footage posted to the Bristol Connecticut Police Department Facebook page shows a line of officers applauding as their late colleague’s wife, Laura DeMonte, leaves the hospital.
The department shared images of the newborn baby girl, Penelope Dustin-Ann DeMonte, and said she and her mother were doing well.
