Police arrest protesters at first rally of French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour

Tensions flared and police detained several people at the first campaign rally of controversial French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour in Paris. The right-wing media pundit is hoping to win the vote against Emmanuel Macron but his first rally drew large counter-demonstrations of protesters accusing him of being xenophobic. The footage filmed on December 5 shows protesters gathering around the venue of the rally, shouting slogans against Zemmour and police arresting several of the activists.
