Police attempt to trace four men after report of rape at playing fields
Police are attempting to trace four men after a rape at playing fields in Bury. Police say the men they want to identify were at the Redvales playing fields between 3.30am and 6am on September 1.
The force said detectives are investigating reports of a rape at the playing fields are now appealing to the public for information about the alleged attack.
The four unnamed males, who police say they believe could have 'important information to support the investigation', were seen wearing sports clothing and had a black labrador dog with them.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Detectives in Bury investigating reports of a rape in the Redvales Playing fields are appealing to the public for information.
"We are looking to identify four males who were at the Redvales playing fields area off of Manchester Road in Bury between 3:30-6:00 am on Sunday 1st September 2024.
"The men were wearing sports clothing and had a black labrador dog. We believe they could have important information that could support our investigation.
