Police bust open cannabis farm hiding in Kirklees village

Police have shut down a large cannabis farm discovered in a Kirklees village.

West Yorkshire Police posted an image of the operation on its Kirklees Rural Facebook page. The force said the grow was discovered in Golcar on Thursday, November 14.

Three images of the operation were posted, showing various shots of the cannabis plants. They were posted on Monday, November 18.

West Yorkshire Police - Kirklees Rural said: "On Thursday 14th November Team 2 Rural NPT Officers discovered a large cannabis grow at an address in Golcar. More drugs off the streets!"
