Police bust open Class A drug den after tip off

Police have busted open a Class A drug den after receiving a tip-off in Scarborough.

North Yorkshire Police officers from the Proactive Team visited the house in Prospect Road on Wednesday, October 30 after receiving a tip-off. On entering the property they found a quantity of drugs.

A man, 43, has been arrested for possession of a Class A drug and possession with intent to supply a class A drug. He remains in custody as officers continue their investigation.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Intelligence helps us to take action in your community."
