Police call off search for missing 92-year-old... after finding she'd run off with toyboy lover

A 92-year-old woman who sparked a police search after going missing from her Norwegian care home was found to have eloped with her toyboy lover.

Staff at the Vilberg old people’s home in Eidsvold feared the worst when they found her walking frame dumped in the car park last week.

Police were drafted in to try and find the nonagenarian. It’s not clear how long she was missing for.

But they called the search off after finding she’d driven to Stockholm with her 87-year-old Swedish partner.

They’d apparently hooked up before she first went into the home.

“This is really a touching love story. Imagine not being able to go on a romantic holiday just because you’re past 90,” said home manager Janka Holstad, reports The Local.

The pensioner has now spent ten days away from the home, but is set to return at the weekend.
