Police were called out after a crash triggered delays on a busy Potteries road. The smash on Cobridge's Waterloo Road left the route 'partially blocked'.

StokeonTrentLive reported how the collision, which took place at the Greyhound Way junction, triggered delays along Waterloo Road as officers dealt with the incident. The crash on Thursday afternoon also came at a time where there were telecommunications works on Leek New Road, near North Road, which also caused congestion.

Staffordshire Police has confirmed it was called to a collision between a Vauxhall Corsa and a Seat Ibiza. The force say nobody was injured and is not a crash the force is investigating.
