Police called to railway station after two members of staff assaulted

A man has been arrested after two members railway staff were assaulted. British Transport Police and Transport for Wales confirmed that officers were called to Bridgend railway station at 1.44pm on Tuesday, May 28 to reports of a passenger assaulting two members of staff.

It has not been confirmed whether either member of staff sustained any injuries as a result of the incident. A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Bridgend railway station at 1.44pm yesterday (28 May) to reports of a passenger assaulting two members of rail staff.
