Police called to Surrey high street after car crashes into estate agents

A large emergency service response rushed to Redhill High Street on Friday afternoon (January 31) after a car crashed into an estate agents branch.

Officers from Surrey Police arrived at the scene at approximately 5.11pm following reports of a collision involving a car.

They were joined by crews from the South East Coast Ambulance. Surrey Fire and Rescue Service teams also attended.

Responders found that the driver of the car had collided with the front of the Martin & Co branch on the High Street. No injuries have been reported.

A Surrey Police spokesperson said: “We were called to High Street, Redhill at approximately 5:11pm this afternoon (Friday 31 January) after reports of a collision at the location.

"Officers responded and found that the driver of the car had collided with the front of Martin & Co.

“Colleagues from Surrey Fire and Rescue and South East Coast Ambulance also attended. The driver didn't require medical treatment.”
