Police car in North Staffordshire smash
Paramedics were called to a crash involving a police car on a busy North Staffordshire Road. Officers and an ambulance were sent to Leek Road, in Cheadle, where the force vehicle had been in collision with a Jeep.
Both vehicles had to be recovered from the scene near to Park Drive. The smash took place at around 11.15am on Sunday (November 17).
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "We were told about a collision involving a police vehicle and a black Jeep on Leek Road, Cheadle. Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service went to the scene alongside officers. The driver of the Jeep, a man, and the passenger, a woman, were assessed at the scene by paramedics. None of the police officers were injured. Recovery for the vehicles was arranged."

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service added: "We were called by the police to reports of a two-car road traffic collision at the junction of Leek Road and Park Drive on Sunday. One ambulance attended but no-one was injured."
