Police Charge 'Unruly Customer' Following Delta Flight Brawl

Police in Atlanta, Georgia, arrested a man involved in a brawl aboard a Delta Air Lines flight before take-off on October 29, media reported.

The fight was sparked after the man, Curtis Maurice Clayton, took issue with another passenger placing an item in his seat pocket, Newsweek reported, citing police. Police said Clayton also damaged a police vehicle and was charged with battery and interference with government property.

In a statement to Storyful, Delta referred to Clayton as an “unruly customer”.

“Civility at our airports and on our flights is something our people and customers deserve always,” the airline said. "Delta will always put safety and security above all else.”
