Major Dumfries and Galloway road remains closed following serious accident
A major road in Dumfries and Galloway remains closed following a serious accident.
The A75 has been shut for much of the day following an accident involving a lorry on Wednesday morning.

The Euroroute was closed between the turnoffs for Annan and Eastriggs just after 9.30am.
Police have urged drivers to avoid the area, with motorists being told to follow a diversion on the B721.
In a post on social media, Police Scotland said: "The A75 is remains CLOSED at this time, due to a road traffic collision near to the Eastriggs junction.
"A diversion is in place and will remain until the necessary scene investigations are complete.
