Police close road after car ploughs into school wall in late night crash
A huge emergency response was sparked when a car ploughed into a school wall on Teesside.
The incident happened at around 11.00pm on Friday, September 27, when the vehicle - a black Audi - smashed into Yarm School wall.
Police and firefighters were on the scene and the road was closed between Bentley Wynd and Worsall Road. There appears to have only been one car involved in the incident.

Pictures from the scene on Friday night show emergency services working in the area with the road cordoned off. One witness reported a strong smell of gas.
This morning there was still a cordon outside the area where a large pile of rubble and bricks was spread across the path near the entrance to the school. It is not known yet if anyone was injured during the collision.
