Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a 16-year-old boy who has gone missing. Kyle Phillips was last seen leaving an address in Caerphilly on Friday, and officers from Gwent Police have now launched an appeal to the public for their help in locating his whereabouts.

They have released a description of what he was last seen wearing, which was a grey/white coloured vest top with a distinctive number ten on the back. He was also wearing grey shorts and just socks on his feet. He is described as being slim and having fair hair.

Officers say if you see Kyle, not to approach him, as he "may not realise people are trying to help", and have asked for anyone with sightings to get in contact with them directly instead. For the latest Welsh news delivered to your inbox sign up to our newsletter.
