Police are still looking for a missing 17-year-old - and believe he could be 240 miles from home. Salan Kamel Saeid, of Crewe, has not been seen since Sunday morning.

Now Cheshire Police believe the teenager could be in Glasgow - namely the Maryhill area of the Scottish city. Salan was last seen around 9am on January 19 in the Hungerford Road area of Crewe.

He is described as 5ft 7in tall, with short brown hair, of a medium build, and was wearing a dark tracksuit, trainers, a black coat, and was riding a white and blue bike. The force believes he also has links to London.

Inspector Claire Miles said: "It has now been a few days since Salan was last seen and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. We would urge anyone who has seen Salan since he went missing to get in touch with us. The same goes for anyone with any information on his whereabouts or anyone with any relevant CCTV, dashcam or video doorbell footage which could help us to trace him."

Witnesses should call 101 and quote IML-2009123.
