Police confirm body discovered after huge 999 response
The body of a man has been found at a property in Plymouth. A major emergency service response was seen near Halfpenny Court yesterday afternoon, Monday, January 20.
Police officers were called to the scene around 3.15pm by the ambulance service following a concern for the welfare of a man. Officers attended and a man in his 30s was pronounced deceased.
His death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.

At the time of the incident, a witness told PlymouthLive there was a major emergency service response. They said: "Something going on at Half Penny Court flats [...] Loads of police, ambulance and fire engine."
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police has said: "Police were called by ambulance at 3.15pm on Monday 20 January following concern for the welfare of a man at an address in Plymouth.
"Sadly, the man in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the property in Halfpenny Court.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner."
