Two vulnerable girls who were reported missing from Worthing, West Sussex, have been found "safe and well" 132 miles away.

Grace, 12, and Abbie, 15, had vanished from their hometown on Friday morning.

They had last been seen in Goring-by-Sea at 8am that day.

It was believed they used public transport to travel across the country.

An urgent nationwide search was launched, with authorities believing the friends could be in Birmingham city centre.

Sussex Police confirmed on Sunday evening that Grace and Abbie had been traced in Birmingham.
