Police cordon erected after Audi ploughs into Stockton home
A cordon has been erected after a car ploughed into a Stockton home.
The smash took place on Daventry Avenue, Stockton, when a blue Audi crashed into a terrace home. It is understood the incident happened after 8pm on Friday, September 13.
Pictures from the scene show the area taped off by blue and white police tape and several officers in attendance. Cleveland Police and Cleveland Fire Brigade attended the scene.
The car has caused extensive damage to the brickwork surrounding the door of the home. Two police vehicles were stationed on the road following the incident.
Witnesses reported that the homeowner was not at home during the crash. It is not clear if anybody was injured as Teesside Live is awaiting further information from the authorities.
It is understood the cordon remains at the scene on Saturday morning.
