Police cordon erected on Teesside street as Mercedes sealed off

Multiple cordons have been erected on a Teesside estate.

Cleveland Police officers taped off Ambleside Road, in Normanby, on Tuesday. A Mercedes car was also located inside a cordon on Manor Green, which joins Ambleside Road, during the incident at around 7pm.

It is believed the two cordons are linked. However, this is yet to be confirmed by the authorities.

Multiple police vehicles were pictured at the scene, with one blocking access to a road. Police officers were also stationed at the cordons.

Two police cars were located at one side of Ambleside Road and a police van and car at the opposite end of the street. Police were conducting enquires at the scene, including taking pictures behind the sealed off area. Ambleside Road has now been reopened to the public.

One officer was also spotted guarding the scene with the Mercedes inside the cordon. Cleveland Police reportedly arrived at the scene around 6.30pm. No further details regarding the incident are known at this time.
