Police blocked off a Coventry building following reports that a 'suspicious substance' had been found. Officers were called to The University of Warwick on Friday (May 24).

Cops erected a large cordon at The University of Warwick at around 10.30am. Experts were called in following reports that a substance had been discovered at the Science Park.

It formed part of a sample that had been sent for analysis, said West Midlands Police. Tests were carried out and the laboratory where it was found was later declared 'safe.'
