Police Disperse April Fools' Gathering in Brussels Park

Riot police dispersed crowds in Brussels’ Bois de la Cambre after thousands of people gathered for an April Fools’ Day party, The Brussels Times reported.

The mayor of Brussels, Philippe Close, tweeted that he could not tolerate such gatherings amid efforts to continue the vaccine rollout.

The Brussels Times said the people showed up after a fake festival, "La Boum,” was announced as an April Fools’ Day joke.
