Police Dog Helps Track Down Missing Woman With Alzheimer's
A Florida police officer located an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s who had been missing for over an hour on Wednesday, August 14, with help from a tracking dog.
Bodycam footage released by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and posted on X shows the moment the officer and the K-9 found the woman, who police said was unharmed and “walking barefoot on a roadway a short distance away.”
“Their tracking skills were crucial in locating this missing woman quickly, and we’re relieved to see her return home safely,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said in the X post. Credit: Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office via Storyful
