A section 35 dispersal order has been authorised by police in a certain area of Bromley.

It is in place from 2.30pm today (December 8) until 7.30pm tomorrow (December 9).

Officers say this to prevent anti-social behaviour within the area.

Section 35 gives a police constable and a police community support officer in uniform the power to exclude a person from an area for a period of up to 48 hours with a police inspector’s authority.

Bromley Town Centre Police (@MPSBromleyTown) tweeted: “Section 35 Dispersal Zone Authorised! Insp Allen has authorised dispersal zone for the Town Centre footprint. (Map below).

“This is to prevent ASB. Start Time: 1430 hours 08/12. Finish Time: 1930 hours 09/12.”
