Police Helicopters Rescue 16 People From Flooding in Ostrava
Sixteen people were rescued from flooding in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on Monday, September 16, following deadly floods in much of Central Europe.
Footage from the Czech police shows people being airlifted to safety from flooded buildings. The footage also shows a chemical plant inundated with water.
Local news reported that at least two people were confirmed to have died as a result of the flooding, while eight people are missing.
