Police are hunting a schoolboy after three sex attacks on lone women in Lewisham in three hours.

The suspect, believed to be aged between 13 and 15-years-old, launched a string of sex attacks during the evening of September 2.

Detectives said he launched the spree at 5pm after stalking a woman who was walking in Malyons Road, Ladywell.

As she entered the communal area of her block of flats the boy followed her in where he grabbed her jacket, sexually assaulted her and fled.

The second attack came just 100 metres away in Chudleigh Road at 7.45pm. Police said the suspect approached a woman from behind, made explicit comments to her before sexually assaulting her.

He then suggested to the victim he had a knife causing the woman to flee in terror.

Just minutes later on the same road he confronted a woman walking in the street before he sexually assaulted her.

As the victim fought back the suspect grabbed her hair, ripping a piece out before walking off in the direction of Ladywell Road.

The suspect is described by police as a light-skinned black male, aged around 13-15 years old and of average build. He has short black hair with waves on top.

In each attack he was wearing a knee-length, dark grey puffer jacket.

If anyone can identify this male, or has information that could assist the investigation, they are asked to contact police on 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD6588/21SEP. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
