Police are hunting a pervert who sexually assaulted a 58-year-old woman and a school girl in two separate bus stop incidents in north London.

The man is alleged to have first approached the woman at a stop on Acton Lane, Brent, and offered her money to go somewhere with him.

Police say that she refused so he sexually assaulted her as she tried to board the bus.

Investigating officers have now linked the incident, which happened at 6.25am on July 27, to another alleged assault on September 13.

This time, the suspect, aged between 45 and 50 years, approached a schoolgirl as she walked towards the Route 260 bus stop on Pound Lane in Willesden.

He is said to have engaged the girl, 14, in a similar conversation before also sexually assaulting her.

Police have now released a grainy CCTV image of a man man they want to trace over the incidents. He is described as black, slim, between 5ft 10ins and 6ft 4ins tall, with short black hair.

Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command continue to investigate, while no arrests have been made.
