Police hunt man after £13,000 of watches stolen from Liverpool Street station

A manhunt has been launched after £13,000 of watches were stolen from a shop at Liverpool Street train station.

British Transport Police released CCTV images in an attempt to track down a man believed to have information about the theft,

A man was reported entering a jewellers at the busy east London transport hub and asking to see two Rolex watches before stealing them and fleeing to the London Underground.

The stolen watches are a £9,990 Men's Daytona Rolex, with the serial number P707003 and model code 116529.

A women's two colour Rolex valued at £2,950 with model number 69173 is also missing.

The incident happened just after 3pm on Tuesday, June 25.

Officers would like to speak to the man and are calling for anyone who recognises him. His description is black, of regular height and wearing a white shirt, to come forward with information.
