A CCTV appeal has been launched to find a man who sexually assaulted a woman in a North Yorkshire town.

North Yorkshire Police have issued an image of a man wearing a blue jacket and cap on a red mobility scooter after a woman was inappropriately touched, and lewd comments were made towards her in the Abbey Walk/Sainsbury's area of Selby.

A spokesperson said: "Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on the CCTV image, as he may have information that will assist our investigation.

"Email grant.baker@northyorkshire.police.uk if you can help."
