Police hunt after man outrages public decency at Sheffield beauty spot

The hunt for a man seen carrying out a "lewd act" in a Sheffield beauty spot continues as detectives issue a fresh appeal for information.

South Yorkshire Police are appealing for help to find a man following reports of outraging public decency in Shire Brook Valley Nature Reserve in Stone Lane.

The incident happened at around 12.45pm on January 8 and officers have since spoken to a man in connection to it and enquiries remain ongoing at this time. Today, they have issued a new appeal as they try to track down a potential witness.

Officers want to identify a man who it is thought may have witnessed the man. He is described as a white man, possibly in his 70s, who was believed to be driving a red Ford Focus at the time.
