Police hunt man who threatened staff with knife at Gravesend station

Police have launched an appeal to find an armed man who threatened a member of a staff with a knife at Gravesend railway station. Officers investigating the incident have now released a picture of man who may have information.

The incident happened at around 3pm on November 5 when a man tried to push through the barriers of the station and was stopped by a member of staff. The man pulled out a knife from his bag before threatening the staff member and shouting at them.

Anyone who recognises the man in the picture is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2400139265. Alternatively, they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
