Police have issued an urgent appeal for two teenage girls from Birmingham who have been missing since Tuesday.

Alayah, 15, and Zulaikha, 14, haven’t been seen since Tuesday morning.

West Midlands police sent out an appeal on Wednesday but believed the urgency of the situation warranted sending out a second appeal on Thursday.

The police said: "Their families are understandably really concerned for them, as are we."

Zulaikha is described as 5ft 4ins tall, with shoulder-length brown hair.
