Police Hunt Suspect Who Allegedly Made Anti-Asian Comments During New York Attack

Police said on March 15 they were looking for a man wanted over an alleged anti-Asian attack in New York on February 15.

The NYPD is seeking the public’s help to identify the man in connection with the incident, which occurred in front of Fred Samuel Park on Lenox Avenue.

Police said a 27-year-old man was walking to his vehicle when he was pushed by an unknown individual. “When the victim asked why he was pushed, the individual made anti-Asian statements and punched the victim in the face, causing pain and swelling,” police said. Credit: NYPD via Storyful
