Police catch North Tyneside man who was said to be evading arrest

Police have caught a wanted man from North Tyneside who was said to be "actively evading arrest".

Benito Bado was wanted on emergency prison recall, and he was understood to have links to Northumberland. Officers who were searching for the 38-year-old at the time appealed for the public's help in tracing him.

Extensive searches to locate Bado took place across the region. with Northumbria Police saying that he had links to the Cramlington area and was "actively evading arrest".
