Police Intervene as Rival Demonstrators Clash Near Oregon State Capitol

Police in Salem, Oregon, arrested three people after rival demonstrators clashed near the State Capitol on March 28.

The Oregonian reported that a group called The Conservative Wing initiated a “Freedom Rally” gathering in Sandy, Oregon, with plans to travel to the State Capitol. This attracted around 150 left-wing counter-protesters to Salem, the paper said. Credit: Sergio Olmos via Storyful
