Police investigate footage of Notting Hill Carnival-goer 'assaulting' female officer
Shocking video footage of a man ‘assaulting’ a female police by thrusting repeatedly against her at the Notting Hill Carnival is under investigation.
The clip, posted on social media, sparked outrage with many saying it was tantamount to a sexual assault.
The video shows a grinning man appear to pin the female officer, whose face is not clear in the footage, against some railings then thrust repeatedly against her.
The Metropolitan Police has confirmed it is investigating the video, which has sparked a range of reactions from social media users.

Some were appalled by what they saw as an assault on the officer, while some criticised her for not having a more stern reaction to the man’s antics.
