Police investigate after luxury car found burnt out in city park

Police are investigating after a luxury car was found burnt out in a city park. South Wales Police said that they received a call concerning a report of a stolen car from an address in Fairwater, Cardiff, at 2.55pm on Saturday, August 17.

The car was a red Maserati Levante, the 2024 model of which retails for £93,000 according to the Maserati website.

Walkers in the area found the burnt vehicle on Sunday morning, August 18. South Wales Police confirmed that the matter remains under investigation.

A spokesperson for the force said: "At 2.55pm on Saturday August 17, South Wales Police was called concerning the report of a car having been stolen from an address in Fairwater. The car was a red Maserati Levante. The matter remains under investigation."
