Police investigating after man in his 40s found dead at factory in Consett, County Durham
Police are investigating after a man was found dead at a factory in County Durham.
The body was a male in his 40s was discovered at Interplan Sign Systems in Consett. Officers attended the premises, which is located on Hownsgill Drive, on Tuesday, August 27.
Durham Constabulary is investigating the incident and are working alongside the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). They are currently treating the man's death as "unexplained".

A spokesperson for the force said: "An investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Consett. Police officers attended a premises on Hownsgill Drive after the body of a man in his 40s was discovered. The death is currently being treated as unexpected.
"Enquiries are now ongoing in partnership with Health and Safety Executive."
A HSE spokesperson added: "We are aware of this incident and assisting Durham Police with an investigation."
