Police issue appeal following report of criminal damage in Hexham
Officers probing alleged criminal damage in Hexham have released an image of a man they would like to trace in connection with the incident.
Northumbria Police was alerted at about noon on Wednesday, October 9, to reports a man had approached a parked vehicle in the Battle Hill area of Hexham.
It was claimed he then caused damage to one side of the vehicle, before leaving the area on foot.

Today the force has issued an image of a man who is understood to have been in the area at the time and could assist with the investigation.
It is also believed a second man was in the area at the time.
He is described as being in his 60’s with short grey hair, wearing a grey jacket and beige trousers.
