Police issue update on crash near Birmingham Airport as woman fights for life
Police have issued an update following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian near Birmingham Airport. A woman was left fighting for her life after a car collided with a pedestrian in Bickenhill Parkway in Marston Green shortly after 6pm on Monday (November 4).
Several ambulance crews were sent to the scene and found a woman in a critical condition. She was given ‘specialist trauma care’ at the scene.
She was then taken on blue lights to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital for further treatment. Now West Midlands Police has issued a statement in relation to the crash.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. He is being quizzed by police officers. Now police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Bickenhill Parkway, Marston Green, just after 6pm on Monday (November 4).
“A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries. A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, and he remains in custody.
