Police issue desperate appeal to trace missing Ayrshire man

Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing Irvine man.

Wesley Townsley, 47, was reported missing yesterday (Wednesday, November 27) and was last seen near Kilwinning Road, in Irvine, at around 9.35am.

Last seen wearing a grey tracksuit, Wesley is described as 1.7m tall, stocky build with short, grey, balding hair.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police in Ayrshire are appealing for help to trace 47-year-old Wesley Townsley, who has been reported missing from Irvine.

“Wesley was reported missing on Wednesday, November 27 and was last seen near to Kilwinning Road, Irvine about 9.35am on the same date.

“He is described as about 1.7m in height, stocky build, short grey hair which is balding. He is known to have tattoos, last seen wearing a grey tracksuit.

“Anyone who may have seen Wesley or know his whereabouts is requested to call 101 quoting incident number 0861 of November 27.”
