Police issue statement over Llandudno bar raid
Police have conducted a raid on a prominent Llandudno bar. A heavy police presence was seen outside Fountains Bar and Cafe on Upper Mostyn Street today.
Several officers were deployed outside and the front door of the premises appeared to be smashed in. North Wales Police confirmed they carried out a search as part of an "ongoing investigation".
The raid comes after a woman was arrested following and alleged "wounding" outside the bar during the early hours of Sunday morning. A woman was taken to hospital with "injuries" as part of this incident which police are investigating.

At the time, the police said: "A 24-year-old woman was subsequently arrested, and another 39-year-old woman was taken to hospital with injuries. Investigations into the incident are ongoing."
Today the force issued the following statement: "Police carried out a warrant at a business property on Upper Mostyn Street this morning in connection with an ongoing investigation."
