Police launch appeal after boy, 17, stabbed to death in Tottenham

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a teenage boy was stabbed to death in Tottenham in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police were called to reports of a 17-year-old male stabbed in Orchard Place just after midnight.

Officers attended and administered first aid, but the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident and both have been taken into police custody.

Officers are in the process of informing his next of kin.

A post-mortem examination and formal identification will be arranged in due course.
