Police have launched a search operation after a man suspected of assaulting an emergency worker escaped from custody.

Curtis Alldis, 30, was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of GBH, breaching his bail conditions and attacking an emergency worker.

While in custody he told officers he was unwell and was taken to a hospital in Ealing as a precaution.

But police were left shocked after he absconded at 1.50pm on Thursday.

Alldis has links to the Uxbridge and Hayes areas.

If seen, members of the public are advised not to approach Alldis but call 999. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD 7198/29Jun.
