Police launch investigation after unexplained death in village

Police are investigating the unexplained death of a man at a property in west Wales. The man died at a property in Llwyncelyn near Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire last Thursday (July 4).

Officers were called to the scene after concerns were raised for the “welfare of residents” at the address. No arrests have been made in connection with the death, but Dyfed-Powys Police has confirmed that enquiries are ongoing. A spokeswoman for the force said: “We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man at a property in Llwyncelyn, Cilgerran. Police attended on the 4th July following concerns raised for the welfare of the residents at the property.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
