Police have launched an appeal to find a man who is wanted in connection to a robbery after a man was assaulted and had his backpack, wallet and clothing stolen.

Officers were called to Dickson Road at around 11pm on Saturday, November 26 after a man had been assaulted and robbed.

Yesterday (November 27), two people have been arrested and charged with robbery. They are Michael McWilliams, 48, of Gorton Street, Blackpool; and John-Paul Jones, 33, of no fixed address.

Both men were remanded into custody to appear before Blackpool magistrates this morning.

A spokesperson for the police said: “Have you seen 24-year-old Brandon Wilson (pictured) who we want to speak to in connection with a robbery in Blackpool?

“We now need to speak to Wilson as part of our ongoing enquiries and are appealing for anybody with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

“Our detectives are also appealing for anybody with information or footage which could assist our investigation to come forward.”
