MARSHALL, Texas (KETK) – The Marshall Police Department announced the arrest of a man after he allegedly spit on an employee at IHOP.
According to Marshall PD, they responded to a disturbance on Sunday. Police learned that a man ,identified as Christopher Gibson, 39, had allegedly spit on an IHOP employee who had refused him service “based on his behavior.”
Officials said that by the time they arrived at the IHOP, Gibson had left. Marshall PD later responded to another call reporting someone causing a disturbance at a Whataburger, after arriving, authorities said they found that Gibson was involved.
Gibson was transferred to Harrison County Jail and charged with class c misdemeanor assault, and has since been released after posting bail.
