Police name 4 men accused of robbing Kilburn EE phone shop and threatening staff

Four men accused of robbing a Kilburn phone shop and threatening staff to open its safes have been named by police. James Adodo, 24, of Perry Street, Crayford; Ayomide Olaribiro, 21, of Warrior Square, Ilford; Olabiyi Obasa, 28, of Norfolk Road, Dartford and Nelson Joel, 27, of St Martins Road, Dartford.

They were arrested at about 5.25pm on Tuesday, November 19 at the EE shop in Kilburn High Road. All four appeared in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 21 November, charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. They were remanded to appear at Harrow Crown Court on December 19.

CCTV footage from the shop showed men wearing surgical masks and hoods enter the phone shop. Staff were then reportedly threatened to open the safe, which had mobile phones in them.
