Police name dead man and arrest suspected killer

A man who had been missing for weeks has been found dead and his suspected killer has been arrested.

Thames Valley Police said a body was found in Erith, south London, on Wednesday and identified as 46-year-old Duane Denny on Friday.

Mr Denny had been reported missing on August 24 and the force launched an investigation.

Officers arrested a 47-year-old man on suspicion of his murder on Thursday night, and he remains in custody.

Mr Denny’s family are being supported by specially trained officers.
