Police name woman, 21, charged with violent disorder
A woman has been charged with violent disorder in Merseyside. Ellie Wilson, of Leyland Road, Southport, has been charged with violent disorder in relation to scenes which broke out on St Luke's Road in Southport on July 29.
She was remanded and appeared at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Saturday, September 7. She is the 61st person to be charged, with 96 people arrested in total in relation to the violent disorder which broke out on Merseyside in late July and early August.
Connor Ashley Piggott, 25, of Landsdown Road, Chester was the latest person to be jailed for his involvement in the violent scenes.

He appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday, September 5, after pleading guilty to violent disorder. He was sentenced to two years and four months in prison.
Piggott was spotted on video repeatedly throwing bricks at police officers. He wore a balaclava to try and hide his face, but as detectives trawled through hours of CCTV and social media he was identified.
